These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chexa, an AI-assisted, no-code web testing and automation platform operated by CoherenIQ (Udyam Registration Number: UDYAM-KR-03-0729555), registered at # 60/1-23, 3rd Cross, Monypal County Rd, Singasandra, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560 068, India ("Chexa", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Chexa, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
Chexa is a business-to-business service. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the organization you sign up on behalf of. An organization's Owner and Leads may invite additional Members under the same account; each Member's use is governed by these Terms and by whatever internal permissions the Owner/Lead grants them within Chexa.
Chexa lets you record, generate, run, and self-heal automated browser tests against web applications you choose to test — including AI-assisted features (plain-English test generation, coverage-gap analysis, selector self-healing, and autonomous exploration) that call a third-party large-language-model provider on your behalf when you enable them. Chexa is a testing tool, not a guarantee of software quality: a passing test run does not warrant that the application under test is free of defects, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cohereniq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree not to use Chexa to:
To run tests on your own machine or a cloud VM you control, you may download and install Chexa's agent software. That software is proprietary to CoherenIQ, licensed (not sold) to you solely to connect your own machines to your own organization's Chexa account — the exact terms are presented and must be accepted at install time, and are also included as a NOTICE file alongside the installed software. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer it, and you are responsible for removing it from any machine you no longer wish it to run on (Chexa's ephemeral cloud-run feature removes it automatically once a cloud run finishes).
When you or a Lead enables AI-assisted features for your organization, relevant content (test descriptions, page structure, requirement text you paste in, or screenshots involved in self-healing) is sent to our third-party AI provider to generate a response. You control this: AI features can be switched off at the organization level at any time, and a Lead can set a monthly spending cap across all AI features. Do not paste real end-user personal data, secrets, or credentials into a prompt or requirement field you don't want processed by our AI provider.
Chexa is billed per seat, either as a one-time annual payment or an auto-renewing yearly subscription, via our payment processor (Razorpay). New organizations may start a single 15-day free trial; no card is charged during the trial. Continued access after your trial or a paid period ends requires a completed payment. Pricing in effect at the time of your purchase applies for that billing period; renewal pricing may differ and will be shown before you're charged. You retain all rights to the test cases, recordings, screenshots, and other content you create in Chexa ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you. Chexa, its underlying software, and its branding remain the property of CoherenIQ.
Chexa relies on third-party services (our AI provider, payment processor, and infrastructure hosting) to operate — see our Privacy Policy for details. We may send you service-related emails (billing, security, product updates); you cannot opt out of transactional messages required to operate your account.
Chexa is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated suggestions (test plans, coverage gaps, healed selectors, exploration results) will be accurate or complete — always review AI-generated output before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoherenIQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of Chexa. Our total liability for any claim relating to Chexa is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold CoherenIQ harmless from any claim arising from your use of Chexa in violation of these Terms, including testing an application you were not authorized to test.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, including a failed or reversed payment, abusive use of AI features beyond your set budget, or use that risks harm to Chexa or third parties. You may stop using Chexa and cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of our third-party AI, payment, or hosting providers.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Effective" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Chexa after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We review this page at least once a year to keep it current with how Chexa actually operates.
For any complaints or grievances regarding these Terms, contact our grievance officer at support@cohereniq.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 2 business days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
